ISO Metric Series by Mar-Bal

The Mar-Bal Engineering Team has recently collaborated with our key customers to design, develop and introduce the ISO Metric Series of Standoff Insulators to provide our global customers, especially those in Asia, with electrical component solutions that have higher voltage ratings, a new insert design for strength and an improved supply chain availability. This product development advancement and NEW product line from Mar-Bal can be found in the traditional electrical and industrial applications like panel boards, switchgears and transformers among many others; however, with the increased voltage rating and stronger insert design, this NEW ISO Series product line is being specified in new WIND and SOLAR applications as well.

 New Insert Design

  • The ISO series utilizes Steel inserts as standard, better thread stripping torque
  • The ISO Series has a Newly designed insert with bigger and hexagon bottom end, catching more insulation material tightly to improve mechanical performance
  • The Insulator has a bigger insert face end to strengthen resisting lateral force
