Colleague Focus – Meet Gordon Van Hyning

This edition of our Colleague Focus is centered on Gordon Van Hyning

Gordon Van Hyning is a Tool Room Manager at our Chagrin Falls, OH location and has been with Mar-Bal for almost three years.

We asked Gordon what his favorite part about working for Mar-Bal is and he replied, “Working with good people who care.”

Looking further into Gordon’s career at Mar-Bal, he explained that his proudest moment at Mar-Bal is simply being accepted by his peers at work. Mar-Bal has also helped with his career development by assisting him with the understanding of BMC materials.

Gordon’s father is someone he looks up to. He admired his father’s outstanding ability to lead people.

Homemade pizza is Gordon’s home-cooked meal of choice. He also enjoys watching shows on the History Channel and relaxing with family.

For Gordon, location doesn’t matter much when it comes to vacations. “As long as my family members are with me the location is irrelevant,” he said.
