Mar-Bal, Inc., headquartered in Chagrin Falls, OH, is the leading integrated compounder and molder of BMC Thermoset composite products and value added finishing services. Since 1970, Mar-Bal has engineered and manufactured quality, customized materials and parts while delivering unmatched client cost-effectiveness through superior customer service and commitment to the total value.  Our second-generation family owned business is committed to impressing high ethical standards not only on our employees but throughout our entire supply chain.  To meet these standards, Mar-Bal now requests suppliers to comply with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (“Dodd-Frank Act”), specifically the requirement of public companies to disclose their use of conflict minerals that originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) or an adjoining country.  Mar-Bal is a privately held company and therefore is not required to make this statement; however, we understand the value of ensuring such compliance for our customers. To that end, in early 2014, Mar-Bal launched a supplier survey program using the commonly adopted Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) form  to survey our suppliers.  We are pleased to report that suppliers of our raw materials have confirmed they are compliant.  Therefore, Mar-Bal is a trusted source to provide materials which are free from conflict minerals.

If you should have any concerns about the use of conflict minerals or have any questions regarding our Supply Chain partners, please contact us.
