Colleague Focus – Meet John Montanaro

This edition of our Colleague Focus is centered on John Montanaro.

John is the Production Manager at our Chagrin Falls, OH Manufacturing Plant. He has been with Mar-Bal for 10 years. Through the years, John has advanced from supervisor to his current position.

John shared that his favorite part about working for Mar-Bal is, “All of the good people that are employed at Mar-Bal.”

We asked John what his proudest moment at Mar-Bal is, “Seeing my many of years of experience benefit my supervisors as they grow as supervisors within the company,” John shared.

 

Marvin Benjamin, the Plant Manager at our Chagrin Falls, OH location shared his appreciation for

John. “I’ve always known him to be hard working and dedicated to both his family and his job,”

Marvin said. “With him already working at Mar-Bal, it helped me make my decision to join the company. I count on him every day and I’m glad to have him on my team!”

When we asked John who he looked up to he shared, “My best friend Tony Scardino. He has been dealt many setbacks in life, including cancer, but he has the best attitude towards life of anyone I know.”

We wanted to learn more about John and his life outside of Mar-Bal. He shared that his favorite home-cooked meal is ravioli and meatballs. When it comes to television his favorite show is The Big Bang Theory.

John spends as much time with his family that he can, and his favorite spot to vacation is anywhere his grandsons are.
