Colleague Focus – Meet Jeff Isom
If you aren’t familiar, Colleague Focus is a series which allows us to feature the people that make Mar-Bal great. In this edition we’ll learn more about Jeff Isom, the Plant Manager for our 80,000 sq. ft. Missouri facility.
Jeff reached a milestone last May, celebrating his 25th year with the company and was presented a plaque to commemorate his many years of service. Like many of his colleagues before, Jeff chose to highlight those around him and their collective work when asked to discuss his favorite part about Mar-Bal stating, “Working with great people who accomplish exceptional tasks”. He goes on to say that Mar-Bal has challenged him to set goals and accomplish things that he most likely wouldn’t have done at another company.
It’s safe to say Jeff learned the importance of a good work ethic from his grandfather on his mother’s side, listing him as someone that he admires. Further elaborating that his grandfather was a hard and honest worker keeping a full-time job while farming on the side, adding that he never complained about anything.
Outside of work Jeff heads to Estes Park, Colorado located 7,500 feet up in the Rocky Mountains which offers fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and numerous hiking trails surrounded by majestic scenery and abundant wildlife.
We want to thank Jeff for his 25 years at Mar-Bal and we’re looking forward to his 26th being another year filled with collaboration, achievements and quality work.
